I was brought in as a hire to work on a wide range of projects for different clients. During my time at the company, I was involved in both SRE and Generative AI projects. I migrated projects from on-premise to cloud, instrumented production applications to enhance visibility and observability using OpenTelemetry, developed monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus, among other tools, and implemented Disaster Recovery for Kubernetes clusters. Lastly, I organized community meetings and gave practical demonstrations of different technologies to colleagues, something I quite enjoyed doing.

Amdocs

Duration: December 2021 - April 2023

During my time at Amdocs, I worked as both a Development Operations Engineer and an SRE. I was part of a large telecommunications project spanning two different Telco providers, and comprised of five different products. Throughout, I helped set up the development, testing, and production infrastructure and environments. As a DevOps engineer, I developed build and deployment pipelines using techniques such as modularization, remote pipeline calls, parameterization, and GitOps to create robust and reusable code. As an SRE, I instrumented both the CI/CD process, automated routine tasks such as artifact storage and build server cleanup, and developed a monitoring and alerting tool that covered everything from bare-metal metrics to application and service events. It was a massive project, and I learned a lot along the way.

eSafe

Duration: October 2020 - December 2021

Here I worked as a Security Engineer, doing everything from maintaining and securing Windows Server environments to deploying and managing various different security solutions - firewalls, EDRs, IPS. It was a heavily customer-facing role.
